What Should I Expect?
What Should I Expect?
Where do I park? Faith Community has a large front parking lot and you can park anywhere!
What door should I use? For our Sunday services, please use the double doors on the west side of the building.
What should I wear? Dress in whatever makes you comfortable. Jeans are completely acceptable.
What is the music style? We do a mix of hymns and more modern music.
What about kids? Children are invited to participate upstairs with the adults for the summer months. We have a children's sermon and quiet toys in the foyer that can come into the sanctuary with them.
Is there coffee? Yes! There is coffee, creamer, etc. in our foyer! Please help yourself and bring it to your seat.

Rev. Angela Nielsen
Rev. Angela Nielsen
Lead Pastor
Rev. Angela Nielsen serves as the lead pastor at Sanborn Faith Community Church of the Nazarene. Bringing eleven years of pastoral experience to her role, Angela previously served as the Spiritual Formation Pastor at Zephyrhills First Church of the Nazarene in Florida before answering the call to Sanborn. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Houghton College, is a graduate of the Nazarene Bible College, and was ordained in the Upstate New York District in 2023.
In addition to her ministry, she is affectionately known as "Mrs. Nielsen" to students in the Starpoint School District, where she works as a substitute teacher—with a very special place in her heart for kindergarten classrooms!
Angela is married to her husband, Tor, and together they have three daughters. When she isn't pastoring or teaching, you can usually find her captured by a good book or behind the lens of a camera enjoying her love for photography.

Rev. Eric Verbovszky
Associate Pastor for Teaching and Prayer
Rev. Eric Verbovszky is Associate Pastor for Teaching and Prayer at Sanborn Faith Community Church of the Nazarene. He is a graduate of Dickinson College (2009, BA, Archaeology) and Nazarene Theological Seminary, (2013, M. Div.). He was ordained on the Philadelphia District in 2014. Past ministry assignments include churches in West Chester, PA and Amherst, NY.
He completed 16 years of ministry in the US Army Reserve as a “missionary to the military” in the Chaplain Corps, finishing with the rank of Major. He deployed in 2017, supporting Soldiers during Operation Inherent Resolve in Kuwait, Iraq, and Jordan.
He owns a small business providing professional regulatory support in the pharmaceutical industry. He serves as the Upstate NY District Nazarene Missions Team coordinator, leading teams to Kenya and Guatemala. Eric is married to Kelly. They have a daughter, Avery, who loves dinosaurs and baby shark.
